On arrival a representative from JABARI will pick you from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and whisk you off to Wilson airport where you will board a light aircraft that will fly you to Samburu Kalama where a representative of JABARI will transfer you to Saruni Samburu. Where you will spend 2 nights in a luxury villa on full board inclusive of soft drinks, house wines, beers & select non-luxury spirits.
located inside Kalama Community Wildlife Conservancy, a large, privately-owned reserve bordering with Samburu National Reserve (‘SNR’). Since Saruni Samburu lodge is only 7 km away from the border between Kalama and Samburu National Reserve, safaris will cover both reserves. Kalama also borders Namunyak Community Conservation Trust to the North (where Reteti Elephant Sanctuary is located) and Sera Community Wildlife Conservation to the North East (where Saruni Rhino is located).

Saruni Samburu Stay highlights
Following breakfast in camp, or equipped with a picnic breakfast, leave early morning from Saruni Samburu for your departing onward flight to the Mara, arriving in the Masai Mara an hour and a half after take-off. You will be picked and transferred by a representative of JABARI who will whisk you off to Saruni Mara where you will spend 2 nights full board inclusive of soft drinks, house wines, beers & select non-luxury spirits.
Mara North Conservancy a beautiful private wilderness area of more than 27,500 hectares (~67,954 acres). It is a vital part of the Maasai Mara ecosystem as it forms the north-western zone, bordering the Maasai Mara National Reserve in the south of Kenya.
Saruni Mara is the only small, boutique lodge in the Mara, with five elegant cottages, one family villa and one private villa. The lodge is nestled in a secluded valley in the heart of the most exciting wilderness in Africa: Mara North Conservancy – an exclusive, private wildlife concession bordering the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Samburu Mara stay highlights
Visit the rhino sanctuary on the way to the airstrip and once again admire the hippos and the crocodiles of the Mara River. Board a scheduled light aircraft to Mombasa where on arrival you will be transferred by a representative of JABARI to Watamu Tree house where you shall spend 2 nights in an upper suite on what we call a wellness journey.
Watamu Tree House is a unique and inspiring guesthouse in harmony with nature which will offer a stay and experience wholly packaged in pure health. During your stay, you will partake in some experiences that were identified by Kenya’s Tourism Board as signature for their uniqueness, from sunset yoga at the Tree house to stand up paddleboat trips and tidal float down Mida Creek & nature walk.
Tuck in leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to Malindi where you will catch your flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson airport, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your next destination flight.
