Your adventure begins the moment you step foot in Jomo Kenyatta International, with Nairobi being the start and ending point of this safari, it becomes difficult to take no notice of its beauty and uniqueness from discovering Kenya’s rich history from flagship museum to exploring the only wildlife capital in the city’s backyard you will be forgive to start thinking Kenya is the most beautiful country the world hosts. Discover the great rift valley in-depth from private conservancy to the floor itself at the great sight of the flamboyant pink flamingoes. Explore Kenya’s flagship reserve the Masai mara famed for hosting the greatest single movement of animals on earth. You will further discover the land that is believed to have hosted the man-eating lions that were responsible for dozens of rail construction workers. Itinerary

Day One: Arrival

After arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a member of JABARI will collect you and whisk you off to your Nairobi stay hotel. Check in at Serena hotel where you shall spend 2 nights in a standard room with an ensuite bathroom. You will be transferred to the Nairobi National Museum a flagship museum for the National Museums of Kenya situated at the museum hill approximately 10 minutes’ drive from the Nairobi central business district. Gain an insight into the Kenyan rich history, appreciate some artwork at the curio shop either by admiring or purchasing. Spend some time in the botanical gardens and nature trails and also visit the neighboring snake park an exhibit of the diverse types of reptiles in the country. Later you will return to you stay hotel for dinner and overnight.

Serena hotel is an ideal retreat center amid the bustling city of Nairobi. Tucked in green lush setting, it becomes the preferential hotel to stay before embarking on any of the Kenyan safari.

After an early rise, enjoy your breakfast before you head out for a game drive in the only park in the city, often referred to as the world’s only wildlife capital. Nairobi national park sits against a backdrop of skyscraper and glowing city; however, it is a host to many wild animals and happens to the perfect off jumping point for any safari in Kenya.

With a number of animals inhabiting it, it becomes difficult to take no notice of. Enjoy up close encounters with a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. Having carried your packed lunch with you, you will be taken to an ideal picnic site to enjoy a sumptuous meal while being served with great views of the park.

After a 6 hours game drive you shall be taken to Giraffe Centre an environmental conservation Centre where the endangered Rothschild giraffe call home, enjoy one on one interactions with the 6 feet necked giraffe while either feeding them or taking a selfie. You shall proceed to your stay hotel for dinner and overnight.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast, followed by a check out you will proceed for the beautiful lake shore of lake elementaita. The enroute road transfer will take you through the most scenic roads while doing a safari in Kenya, this drive will head to Sosyambu conservancy in the south rift circuit which happens also to be the most sought after because of the annual wildebeest migration. Your first scenic point stop will be at the view point where you will enjoy the vistas of the great rift valley part of an intra-continental ridge system that runs through Kenya from north to south.

Proceed through the Nakuru superhighway while enjoying the sights of baboon, acacia trees, zebras and gazelles, you will be forgiven to think in Kenya wild animals are everywhere. On arrival at Sosyambu gate you will check with the authorities before checking in the protected wild preserve. Arrive at your stay Lake Elementaita Safari Lodge in time for lunch, after lunch enjoy your mid afternoon at leisure in the luxury tents with lake view and private veranda or plunge into the pool. Your afternoon game drive starts at 1600hrs for a spectacular viewing of scenery, birdlife, wildlife and the stunning Lake Elementaita are part of the Kenya Lakes System World Heritage Site. Not only will you encounter wildlife but you will also see the geologic wonder of the Great Rift Valley.

Some of the wildlife you may see during day time drives include: Burchell’s zebra, Rothchild’s giraffe, Cape buffalo, Eland, Waterbuck, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, Impala, Baboon, Vervet monkeys, Colobus monkeys, Striped and spotted hyena, Jackals, Leopard, and Lion. Return to your stay lodge for dinner and overnight.

Early morning rise for a game drive, it is during this time of the day animals are at their most active. Enjoy your breakfast at the shore of Lake Elemetaita. Continue with a mid-morning game drive before returning to your stay lodge for preparations as you check out. Proceed to the contiguous wild preserve Lake Nakuru National Park that lies on the floor of the great rift valley. Enter the park with an enroute game drive as you proceed to your stay lodge check in at The Cliff. relax at leisure in the luxury camp as you enjoy the views of the soda ash lake far below your cliff top hideaway, the water ripples and transforms, like a desert rose, into a shimmer of pink of the flamboyance of flamingos. At approximately 1600hrs you will be taken for a game drive in the beautiful wildlife haven where you will enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives. Return to your stay camp for dinner and overnight.

Early morning rise for a game drive, to explore more of this park. Return to your camp for breakfast, check out of your stay camp in readiness for the long hour drive ahead of you. Enjoy the dramatic change in the topography settings while on the enroute transfer heading to Masai Mara National Reserve, the flagship reserve of Kenya, famed for the annual wildebeest migration and hosting of many animals which makes its easier for safari among other activities like bush dinners, sundowners and balloon safaris, the list can be endless. Arrive in time for lunch, you will check in Mara Serena Safari Lodge where you shall spend 2 nights.

Mara Serena Safari Lodge is designed in the style of a traditional Masai Manyatta while offering every modern comfort. Neatly arranged rows of rooms and suites are positioned to offer uninterrupted river views from private balconies. Equally breathtaking sightlines can be enjoyed from the restaurant and bar or the rock-enclosed swimming pool. After a day in the bush, a steam shower and an Oringa Massage at the Maisha Spa & Gym offer an exquisite welcome back to civilization.

Wake up early for a morning game drive which shall take time at 0600hrs to sight most of what the reserve has to offer. Return to your stay lodge for hearty breakfast before embarking on your full day guided safari in the parks awe inspiring sites like the Mara River where the dramatic wildebeest migration unfolds, you will be taken through in-depth understanding of the flora and fauna by our silver and gold certified guide.

Enjoy your lunch in the most scenic lone tree that stands tall in the middle of the reserve from this point enjoy the panoramic views of the rugged plains of Masai Mara reserve. You will be taken in the afternoon to the nearby Masai Market where you will have an opportunity to support and promote the art of local Masai community that inhabits and call this park home, buy yourself a kikoi or Masai Shuka to keep yourself warm, or hand beads among other souvenirs for your take home. Return to your stay lodge where you shall share your encounters during the day around a bonfire. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

You will embark on your concluding safari game drive early in the morning in readiness to sight what you might have missed during your stay. After the game drive you shall be transferred back to you stay lodge for your breakfast. Enjoy a few hours at leisure before you check out, enjoy an enroute game drive on your way out of the reserve. You will head for Nairobi with a picturesque road transfer enroute. Arrive in Nairobi early in the evening. You shall check in to Serena where you shall spend 1 night.

Enjoy your early breakfast, you shall check out of your stay hotel and embark on another road transfer towards Tsavo west national park that lies in the southern circuit of Kenya. buckle up it’s a beautiful scenic road if you happen to look around, the road transfer shall take approximately 5 to 6 hours.

Tsavo west lies on the southern circuit of Kenya, it is the largest wildlife preserve and one of the most diverse wildlife regions of Africa throughout the year most of the continents big game animals can be observed here, the wildlife reserve is especially renowned for its extensive lion population whose ancestors were vilified more than a 100 years ago as the maneaters of Tsavo.

With more than 100 different types of mammals the biodiversity here can be overwhelming. On arrival you shall check in Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge where you shall spend 2 nights in Superbly situated in the lee of Mount Kilimanjaro and sheltered by the volcanic splendor of the Chyulu Hills, this classic stone-built lodge overlooks its own water hole, which is visited daily by elephants, buffalos and a wide variety of plains game.

Being one of the first lodges ever to be built in a national park, the lodge is cool, tranquil and hushed for optimum game-viewing, photography and painting. It is also ideally placed for visits to all the park’s prime attractions. 16:00hrs Afternoon game viewing drives in the park. The park is home to the Big Five animals and birdlife is abundant as more than 600 species of bird have been recorded.

Full day in Tsavo with morning and afternoon game viewing drives at 06:00hrs and 16:00hrs respectively.  The Park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world with large herds of dusty-red elephants, hippopotamus, giant crocodiles, black rhinoceros and African buffalos.

Other animals commonly seen in the park are the zebra, the antelopes and gazelles, the mongoose, the hyrax, the dik-dik and the lesser kudu. Birdlife is abundant as more than 600 species of bird have been recorded.  Some of the interesting areas to be visited are the Mzima springs, Roaring rocks, Chaimu and Shetani Lava sites to mention a few.  On one of the afternoons, you will be hosted to a Sundowner within the park. This evening enjoy a Sundowner Cocktail at a location within the park as you mesmerize at the breathtaking view of the Tsavo and the African sun as it sets!

Enjoy your early breakfast, check out of your lodge and proceed to Amboseli with an enroute game drive. This Journey will take you to Amboseli National Park, commonly referred to as Kenya’s famous park for being a home to the largest herds of African elephants and for being backdropped by Mount Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa. You shall arrive in time for lunch, check in at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge an ideal lodge from where you shall enjoy breathtaking views of the highest peak of Kilimanjaro. Spend mid afternoon at leisure before your afternoon game drive which will start at 1600hrs. The park is compact hence it is explorable with great ease and it holds the richest share of natural habitats.  Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Early morning rise for a game drive in this small but popular park, at this hour not only will you enjoy the sights of wild animals coming from their hiding in search of food but as the sun starts to rise you will be able to marvel at the sight of highest mountain that serves as the most scenic backdrop to what is already beautiful. Return to your lodge for leisurely breakfast before embarking on a full day game drive, carry your packed lunch with you to save yourself much time for game viewing. Amboseli national park is mostly packed with guest be sure to share sights with other travelers in this small space. You will enjoy your lunch from the parks highest point the normartior observation hill where you will have quite access to the breathtaking beauty the park beholds. Return to your stay lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in the lodge, depart with a road transfer to Nairobi City.  arrive at Nairobi Serena Hotel in time for lunch in the Café Maghreb Restaurant compliment of Serena Hotels. After which you shall be transferred to Wilson airport where you shall bid your safari guide a fond goodbye as you board a light scheduled flight to the palm fringed beaches of Kenya. On arrival our representative will collect you and transfer you to Serena Beach Resort. Enjoy your stay of total exclusivity in fun filled activities at leisure.

After breakfast in your stay resort, you shall be transferred to the Moi international airport where you shall enplane to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your next destination flight.
