What To Expect

Journey Overview

There are some experiences that are simply so extraordinary that they become iconic – places that you can’t imagine not visiting when traveling to a certain region, where coming back always feels like coming home. With Nairobi being the start or ending to many of our safaris, a stopover to this city is almost inevitable, a bustling city it is often referred to as the best city in Africa, the city has always been the financial hub of Kenya. (Nairobi is larger than Johannesburg and Cairo thrown in the bargain)- And is one in which you can experience the authentic ‘everyday Africa’. Amboseli is Africa at its most iconic. This vastness of open plains, swampland, thorn bush and fever trees unfurl below snow-capped Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest freestanding peak and an unrivalled safari backdrop. Tsavo West National Park “Land of Lava, Springs, Man-Eaters & Magical Sunsets” From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. Tsavo East National Park “Theatre of the Wild” The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300-kilometer long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. Diani Beach a major beach on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya having been voted Africa’s leading beach destination for the fifth time running since 2015, explore the expansive palm fringed beaches of the African continent where you will get your daily dose of vitamin sea on high tides and good vibes; partake activities such as swimming with the dolphins, snorkeling and scuba diving along the vibrant coral reefs, be sure to savor the foods of the Kenyan coast which are a mix of many cultures of the regions from bantu people to Islamic, Indian and of the European influences.
