Visa Requirements

All travelers to Kenya must hold a valid visa. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of arrival.

e-Visa (Recommended)

  • Apply online before travel
  • eVisa fee: USD 50 (+ USD 1 service fee)
  • Processing time: approximately 3 working days
  • Apply for up to 3 months before travel
  • Print and present your e-Visa on arrival

Visa on Arrival

  • Available at Nairobi (JKIA) and Mombasa (Moi International Airport)
  • eVisa fee: USD 50
  • Use your hotel or lodge name as your Kenyan address

Landing and exit cards are required and provided at entry and departure points.

Most major roads in Kenya are tarred. Road conditions vary depending on location, weather, and maintenance. Travel times are approximate and may change due to traffic, wildlife sightings, or road conditions.

  • Carry some cash in easily convertible currency for small expenses

We recommend consulting your doctor or a certified travel clinic before departure. Anti-malaria medication is strongly advised.

Avoid drinking tap water. Complimentary bottled water is provided during safaris. Additional water is available at lodges, camps, and shops.

All lodges, hotels, and tented camps are carefully selected and listed in your itinerary.

Your Jabari Safaris driver-guide is a professional Kenyan expert with extensive knowledge of wildlife, culture, and geography. They are central to your safari experience.

Safari prices include:

  • Park and reserve entrance fees

  • Stay in vehicles except in designated areas
  • No littering or removal of natural items

Service charges are included. Tipping your driver-guide is customary and left to your discretion based on service quality.
