The Jabari Care

At JABARI, our mission extends beyond being a leading global travel provider; we are committed to making a lasting, positive impact on the communities and environments we visit.

Our nonprofit arm, The JABARI Care, was founded with this vision in mind. Built on a labor of love and dedication to conservation and responsible tourism, Jabari Care identifies projects with the potential to create long-term benefits for the communities where we operate.

We focus on building enduring relationships with rural communities, supporting a wide range of community-based initiatives. Our goal is to fund sustainable, long-term projects that receive the support of our staff and guests. All initiatives are developed collaboratively with local communities, addressing their needs while improving their quality of life.

Funds for charitable projects come from two primary sources:

1. Traveling with Us

A portion of your travel fees directly supports projects in Education, Community Development,  Environmental Conservation, Health, and Food Security, ensuring your safari positively impacts many lives.

You can contribute any amount directly to our featured projects, supporting one livelihood at a time.

Whether you are on a photographic safari or any other safari experience with JABARI, and you are passionate about capturing remarkable moments, your creativity can help transform lives.

Through our Care Through Art Initiative, guests are invited to submit their best wildlife and landscape photographs taken during their safari with us. Selected images will be printed on high-quality canvas and offered for sale.

All proceeds generated from each sale will go directly to the local community of the area where the photograph was taken, or toward supporting other community-based projects within the region visited.

Every contribution made through this meaningful initiative will be credited to the photographer, recognizing their role in making a difference through art.

Our Philosophy

Our commitment to conservation and responsible tourism is guided by these principles:

“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” – Acts 20:35 (NIV)

“Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and a decent life.” – Nelson Mandela

“It’s not how long we live that counts, but what we do while we live that makes all the difference.” – Alpha Harrison

“A life well lived is measured not by wealth or accolades but by the small acts of kindness toward others and the lives we touch along the way.” – Alpha Harrison
